Plum Weekend

This coming weekend is our Plum Weekend (August 18th and 19th). There will be a wide variety of plums for sale ready picked and PYO, including Victorias. Paul will give free walking talks round the orchard at 11am and 1pm on Saturday and 2pm Sunday. If a group of you is coming and want a different time, let us know asap.
Katy apples are now available as well as Discovery. Cookers are Grenadier and hopefully Bramley by Saturday.
Damsons – They are plentiful but just not quite ready. Although larger than usual at this stage, they are still very hard so we are estimating 1st September, but watch this space!!

Fruit update 10/8/18

We are now well in to the plum harvest with a good range of varieties available including, Opal, Czar, Purple and Yellow Pershores, Heron, Swan and Excalibur (a Vic cross). We also now have Discovery apples. Our Plum Weekend is next weekend so we hope to have our largest variety of plums available by then. It would be good to see you!
Opening times over this weekend are rather limited as we have a family event, so we will be open 9-11am tomorrow and Noon – 5pm on Sunday. Monday – Friday next week will be 11 – 6pm.

Fruit update 3/8/18

Opals and Czars will be available for just another few days. Prolifics should last until the end of next week. Purple and Yellow Pershores should be ready to pick from Monday. Belles are likely to be ready at the start of next week too.
Depending on the weather, Victorias are unlikely to be ready much before the middle of the month. They are still green and quite small.
The only apple available so far is Beauty of Bath – these are quite a sharp apple.
Opening times from today are –
Tomorrow (Saturday 4th August) 9 – 3.30pm
Sunday 10 – 6pm
