Apple update 27th September 2020

Most of our apple varieties are now ready to pick and by our Apple Day on Saturday 10th October, there should be about 50 varieties for you to try. Apples are going for juicing this week so there’ll be apple juice to try before you buy too.
We will be opening from now on at 11.30am each day but there will be some serve yourself apples available before that. We will be closed on Friday 2nd October, reopening on Tuesday 6th.

Update 14th September 2020

Damsons are still in very good supply but plums are finishing tomorrow. Apple varieties are coming on thick and fast. There are
Katy and Worcester are both finishing this week. There are Greensleeves, Epicure, Gala, Lambourne, Elstar and Cox at present and of course Bramleys are in good supply.

Fruit update 5th Sept 2020

Plums are coming to the end with Croppers being the main variety left – ideal for both eating and cooking.
Apples are coming on thick and fast. We still have plenty of Worcesters, Katy, Epicure, Elstar, Lord Lambourne with a few Ellison’s Orange left. Bramleys are sizing up nicely and are plentiful. We have a very good crop of damsons.
We’re open today until 6pm, tomorrow (Sunday) from 10 – 5.30 and every day next week from 11 – 5pm
