We still have purple and yellow pershore plums. The Victorias are just ready for picking but there will be few this year. We will not be going to the Pershore Plum Festival because the harvest has been so disappointing – still enough for PYO though!

Victoria plums are likely to be ready mid August.
Unexpectedly, a BBC TV crew arrived this afternoon to do a live broadcast which went out at 6.50pm on Midlands Today. They were featuring the Blossom Trail and saying that the blossom has been early this year. Some of our Bramley trees, which are in full blossom at the moment, provided the backdrop.
Well, we survived the snow!!
The orchard looked beautiful with temperatures dropping to -13 degrees and a seasonal covering of snow, but we are not sorry to see it looking green again.
Pruning has started on the apple trees and we look forward to see what the year brings!
